
On July 31, 2024, the executives of Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership, led by Executive Director and CEO Usman Hamza, paid a courtesy visit to the organization’s Board of Trustees Chairman, Alh. Junaidu Usman Junaidu, at his office in Sokoto.
The team presented the chairman with his appointment letter and briefed him on the organization’s objectives. Hamza emphasized that the organization aims to bring positive healthcare initiatives and leadership to communities, particularly in Sokoto, which is currently facing challenges like cholera, malaria, and seasonal illnesses due to the rainy season.
Hamza assured the chairman that the organization is committed to partnering with government agencies, international organizations, and NGOs to address these issues.
The chairman, Alh. Junaidu Usman Junaidu expressed his commitment and dedication to supporting the organization’s mission, citing the diverse expertise of the executive members as a promising sign of success.
The delegation included Muhammad Nasir Sokoto (Secretary), Muhammad Bello Abdulkadir (Coordinator, Sensitization and Mobilization), Isma’il Muhammad Ladan (Coordinator, Policies, Programs, and Strategies), Abdurrahman Ibrahim (Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation), and Nafiu Muhammad Lema (Coordinator, Communications and New Media Engagements).
Other executives present were Hali Abubakar Musa (Project Coordinator, Healthcare), Salma Usman (Assistant Coordinator, Finance and Audit), Amina Abdullahi (Assistant Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation), Muhammad Bello Bawa (Coordinator, Finance and Audit), and Zainab Shehu Kilgori (Assistant Project Coordinator, Healthcare).
