Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership Responds to Suspected Outbreak in Waziri B Ward with Donation of Sanitary Materials
In response to a suspected outbreak of an ailment that recently claimed lives in Waziri B Ward, Sokoto North Local Government, the Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership, on November 11th, extended its support to the affected communities through the donation of sanitary materials as part of its emergency response efforts.
The delegation, led by the Executive Director and CEO, Usman Hamza, presented the items to the Ward Head of Waziri B, Alhaji Garba Ladan, for onward distribution to residents. Expressing his gratitude, the Ward Head commended the organization’s timely intervention and assured that the materials would be distributed judiciously to benefit the community.
Also present at the occasion was a health officer from the Sokoto North Local Government, who supervised the handover. He emphasized the importance of maintaining proper hygiene to prevent further health risks and lauded the Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership for its valuable contribution towards safeguarding public health.
